Garage sale - May 2011
The information about the Garage Sale during the month of May of 2011 in St-Jerome circulated all over the Laurentians. The tradition started in fall 2009, everyone was sollicitated: members, family, neighbours and friends were asked to donate, be a volunteer or a shopper at the Garage Sale. All the goods were brought to the same location.
The Sale was held from the 20th thru the 22nd of May. Even with the uncertain weather and the long hours; salers and shoppers met each other with a smile on their face.
All the earnings were given to the Bön children Foundation; we would like to thank each and every one of those who contributed to the success of this activity.
Projet au Poil 2011
This financing event started by Ginette, for the Bön children Foundation, it has been successfully going on since 2009. Along the years, many participants added their name to its roster. This year, Ginette and Helene, both founding participants, along with Sebastien and Jean-Saul combined their efforts to make ‘Projet au Poil’ 2011 a success.
The event was held on the 12th of March 2011 in St-Jerome, everyone present was happy to witness the official shaving, and many pictures were taken of the smiling participants.
All the profits were given to the emergency funds of the Bön children Foundation.
To the shaved heads, sponsors and donators, we thank you for your essential support in making this project successful.
Up coming event
A garage sale will take place in St-Jerome from the 2nd to the 4th of September 2011, during Labor Day weekend. If you still have leftovers from spring cleaning or have items to give away, think of us! You're welcome to donate, volunteer or simply to shop.
